Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez has officially left the continent of Europe, seemingly for good, after a decade and will begin his MLS tenure with the Los Angeles Galaxy in the 2020 season.
CH14 didn’t get much playing time at latest club Sevilla, playing in just 15 games, and somewhat reluctantly decided to migrate to the MLS. Hernandez will be the highest-paid player in the American league, making a base of $6 million a year.
The FMFSOM Podcast boys are back to discuss Chicharito’s transfer, his European legacy, what his impact in MLS will be, and what this means for the remaining nine Mexican player left in the “old continent”.
In 45 minutes, Nes and Antonio put their Chicharito fandom aside (eh, not really) to discuss, without bias, Mexico’s all-time top scorer and this new stage of his career.
