Hirving “Chucky” Lozano has completed his much-anticipated move to Napoli, the Serie A club announced on Friday.

PSV Eindhoven is said to have accepted an offer of £43 million for the 24-year-old Mexican, whose deal is set to run for the next five years.

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis had made signing Lozano a priority, as the Gli Azzurri looked to further revamp their squad after coming in second to title-holders Juventus in the 2018/19 Scuddeto race.

Lozano leaves PSV Eindhoven after scoring 40 goals and notching 23 assists in 79 appearances for the Dutch club, also winning an Eredivisie title in his two seasons at the Philips Stadion.

Napoli have said to have expressed genuine interest in the Mexico international for the last few months, and he becomes the club’s ninth major signing of the season.

Lozano will be available to make his Serie A debut next week as Napoli take on Juventus.
