As the only Major League Soccer team remaining in the tournament, the Los Angeles Galaxy have a tough task in front of them as they take on Cruz Azul in the Semifinals of the Leagues Cup.

After beating Xolos de Tijuana on penalties, the Galaxy have the chance to be the only MLS team to reach the inaugural Leagues Cup Final. But following their Supercopa MX win over Necaxa, Cruz Azul have made it an objective to win all three trophies available to them this season.

The big question mark heading into this game will be if Galaxy superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic will play. While the 37-year-old was included in the game-day squad, it is unknown if he will actually take part in the proceedings.

With or without Zlatan, Cruz Azul coach Pedro Caixinha admitted he is not worried. His team arrives on a two-game winning streak and even admitted Liga MX sides still have an edge over their North American rivals. Caixinha will have to walk the talk in what will undoubtedly be another classic Liga MX-MLS matchup in SoCal.
