The Mexico National Team will look to close out the Group Stage of the Gold Cup in perfect fashion as El Tri take on Martinique in their final game of Group A.
With a ticket to the Quarterfinals practically sealed, rotations will most likely be the name of the game for Mexico as Gerardo “Tata” Martino is set to make 5+ changes to his starting lineup. Injuries, of course, have been a concern, and it is of Martino’s interest his squad arrives to the Quarterfinals as healthy as possible.
Martinique arrive to this match on the back of a 3-0 win over Cuba, and although theoretically they still have a chance of going through to the next round, it would take a massive upset to see them go through to the Quarterfinals.
Mexico and Martinique have met two previous times in the Gold Cup, with Mexico winning the first game 9-0 and the second game 3-1.
