It took a narrow 1-0 win in the Second Leg, but Atletico San Luis earned their chance at promotion to Liga MX by defeating Diego Maradona and his Dorados side in the 2019 Ascenso MX Clausura Final.
Maradona watched as a mistake from his trusted goalkeeper, Gaspar Servio, paved the way for Unai Bilbao to score in extra time and seal the win for the Potosinos.
Previously, Atletico San Luis had also won the 2018 Ascenso MX Apertura Final against this same Dorados team.
