After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Tigres and Pachuca will clash at the Estadio Universitario to determine who will be the first of four Semifinalists to the 2019 Liga MX Clausura.
Tigres arrive to this match on the back of 11 straight home games without a defeat in the Liguilla and any win or draw of less than two goals would be enough to see Los Felinos through to the final four.
Meanwhile, Pachuca will have to do something they haven’t been able to do all season, win away from home. Los Tuzos went winless away from home through the course of the regular season, though their last game ended in a 2-2 draw versus Necaxa, a scoreline that in this case would be enough for Pachuca to go through.
It’s worth mentioning that Pachuca were the better team in the First Leg, and if it weren’t for a couple of magnificent saves from Nahuel Guzman, Los Tuzos would have gone into the Second Leg with an advantage in the scoreline. But Tigres are a different monster at the Estadio Universitario, and that away goal they got in the First Leg could play a huge role in how this Second Leg develops in Nuevo León.
