On the face of a 2-0 deficit, Club América will need another one of their trademark comebacks when this evening at the Estadio Azteca they host Monarcas Morelia in their Second Leg of the 2019 Liga MX Apertura Semifinals.

Only 90 minutes separate Monarcas Morelia from a historic Liga MX Final against los Rayados, but as it usually goes with Las Águilas, Miguel Herrera’s men won't go down without a fight and have their eyes set on a memorable night at the Azteca.

In the First Leg, América looked sluggish, to the say the least, but it was an early red card to Jorge Sanchez that really hurt Las Águilas chances. This time around they’ll have the advantage of playing at home and against an attack-minded Monarcas Morelia team that will need to hold down the fort if they want to come out of the Azteca alive.

Of course, an away goal can change the whole characteristic of this match, and Pablo Guede’s side will undoubtedly be searching for that from the very first minute. They’ve managed to score at least a goal in each of their last 18 matches across all competitions, something América will have to be weary about if they want to advance.
