With the 2019 Liga MX Apertura Quarterfinals done and dusted, we are left with just four teams fighting for the Liga MX title.

For only the second time in Liga MX history, the bottom four seeds advanced over the top four, including eighth seed Monterrey who shocked league leaders Santos Laguna. Rayados are carrying all the momentum right now and will take on Necaxa in the Semifinals, while Club América and Monarcas Morelia will clash in the other Semifinal.

If it comes down to style, led by manager Guillermo Vazquez Jr., Necaxa have been one of the more entertaining sides in Liga MX. The question now is how they will be able to stop a red-hot Rayados team.

Meanwhile, Monarcas Morelia had to labor hard for their place in the final four after a last-minute disallowed goal by VAR paved the way for a surprise result over Club León. América, on the other hand, took down defending champions Tigres in a massive Second Leg result away from home and should be feeling confident ahead of their series against the Michoacanos.

Dates and times for the Semifinals are TBA, but it is expected that Necaxa and Monterrey will play their respective legs Wednesday-Saturday while América and Morelia will play theirs Thursday-Sunday.
