No international break, no problem. The Mexico National Team will host Trinidad & Tobago on Wednesday as Gerardo “Tata” Martino’s men take the field at Toluca’s Estadio Nemesio Diez.

There won’t be any “Chucky” Lozano or Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez this time around, but there will be a youthful group of 24 players looking to impress Gerardo Martino ahead of the start of the new CONCACAF Nations League. The game will also serve as a sort of tune-up for the forthcoming CONCACAF Men’s Olympic Qualifying Championship, which will take place in Guadalajara next year and will include the majority of this squad.

Among the players to look out for is obviously Club León striker Jose Juan Macias. The 20-year-old is highly regarded and is soon expected to be a common face in the Mexico National Team for years to come.
