Two teams that arrive on the back of Week 3 defeats face off at the Estadio Nemesio Diez as Toluca play host to Tigres UANL. The Diablos Rojos arrive to this match after losing 2-1 to Chivas, while Tigres had their homecoming spoiled by the visiting Cruz Azul.
In the case of Tigres, slow starts to the season aren’t something out of the ordinary. However, losing their third home match in nine matches does add a bit of pressure to the Felinos.
The good news is Tigres have done an excellent job lately at earning points away from home, losing just once in their last 12 matches across all competitions.
The bad news is Toluca have recently been a tough matchup for the Felinos. Since the 2014 Apertura Semifinals, Tigres and Diablos Rojos have met 12 times, with Toluca only losing just twice in those 12 matches.
The last time these two teams met, the Diablos Rojos won the match by a score of 2-1.
