The Mexican Federation hasn’t officially announced the friendlies, and as for which stadium in Monterrey would be used, all signs point to the Estadio Universitario.
This would be El Tri’s first international friendly matches outside the United States and the Estadio Azteca following a game against Trinidad and Tobago in San Luis in October of last year.
Mexico is set to take on Uruguay on September 7 and four days later against the United States Men’s National Team in Nashville, Tennessee.
