A lot of stand out goals but one stands above all the rest.

5. Chivas de Guadalajara against Rayados de Monterrey provided a goalfest with 6 goals. One of the highlights of the game came in the 55th minute when Isaac Brizuela sent in a cross for Gael Sandoval, who with a picture perfect header put the ball past Monterrey’s keeper to give Chivas the lead.

4. Another highlight goal from Chivas’s thrashing of Monterrey was from up and coming midfielder Alan Cervantes. Cervantes earned out fourth spot with Chivas’s fourth goal after dribbling past two defenders and shooting into the right corner.

3. At number is young Toluca center-back Adrian Mora, who scored his first official goal. In the last five minutes of the first half, Mora jumped and flicked the ball with his left foot effortlessly and beautifully into the back of the net.

2. Coming in at two is a name I had to look up to spell. Tigres midfielder Lucas Zelarayan showed exactly why he starts for a stacked Tigres team when he cut inside from the left side of the field and blasted his shot through the keeper.

1. (Drum Roll please)...It was a close call between the 1st and 2nd spot but, Jorge Sanchez, the America left-back, sent a rocket from the midfield to score one of his side’s two goals in their win over Monarcas Morelia. Hopefully this is the start of many things to come from the 20-year-old.

What do you think? What was your favorite goal?
