As the second half of the season starts, we’re starting to see teams start to pull away from the pack while others fall farther behind.
Pumas 4, Xolos 1: Having the midweek game off didn’t seem to help Xolos, as they remained winless in their last six games by falling to Pumas 4-1. Ana López, Dania Padilla, Patricia Jardón, and Ricla Rajunov all scored for the hosts, while Mitzy Ortega scored her first Liga MX Femenil goal for Tijuana.

Atlas 2, Monarcas Morelia 0: Adriana Iturbide and Ana Rodríguez scored and Ana Paz kept a clean sheet as Atlas downed Monarcas 2-0. Rodríguez’ goal was fantastic, but the pass from left back Fátima Delgado into space set Rodríguez up perfectly.

Querétaro 1, Tigres UANL 2: Lydia Rangel’s goal in stoppage time gave Tigres the dramatic win against Querétaro. Greta Espinoza got Tigres’ first goal in the 21st, but was also charged with the autogol in the 58th on a redirection of an Ixchebel Romero shot.
Lobos BUAP 2, Toluca 2: Claudia Cid and Gloria Narváez scored for Lobos BUAP, but Mariel Roman’s second goal of the match in the 66th minute would salvage a draw for Toluca. Roman’s brace tied her with Alison González of Tigres for the league goalscoring lead.
