With the Premier League transfer window going shut on Thursday, one former EPL champion may be headed to Mexico. According to news from Sky Sports, 32-year-old Argentina forward Leonardo Ulloa could be headed to Pachuca.

Ulloa comes from serving a season-long loan with Brighton & Hove Albion where he scored just once in 10 appearances for the “Seagulls”.

Previously, Ulloa played a part in Leicester City’s historic 2015-2016 run that led them all the way to the league title. Ulloa has also played for clubs in Argentina and Spain, where he first rose to prominence playing for San Lorenzo and Almeria.

Ulloa would be a welcomed signing for Pachuca as the Tuzos have gone winless in their first three matches of the 2018 Liga MX Apertura. Pachuca are currently bottom of the table with three defeats and have scored just once this season. They next play a crucial match against league leaders Pumas UNAM.
