Santos Laguna (2W 0D 1L) remains undefeated at Estadio Corona TSM in the Clausura with a 2-0 win over Puebla (1W 0D 2L). Even with Matheus Doria and Gerardo Arteaga starting in place of Gerardo Alcoba and Jesús Angulo respectively, Santos gave goalkeeper Jonathan Orozco an easy clean sheet by allowing zero shots on goal.
Santos looked comfortable in possession for most of the match, and would finally break through in the 34th minute on a goal from Julio Furch. Furch would get a head on the end of a cross into the box from the left flank. Puebla goalkeeper Nicolás Vikonas stopped the header but gave up a rebound that Furch was able to toe-poke into the back of the net.

Santos would double their lead in the 51st thanks to a great team play between Brian Lozano, Julio Furch, and Carlos Orrantia. Orrantia took one touch and shot, beating Vikonas to the far post and putting Santos up 2-0.

Off a play initiated by @brian_lozano18, @julitofurch sends a perfectly-timed pass to @charalorrantia, who nets this beauty for los Guerreros to kick off the second half. pic.twitter.com/UkLnjylSkO
