Some excellent Liga MX Femenil viewing this past weekend, including over 37,000 attending the Clásico Regio - more than all NWSL games this past weekend combined.
Querétaro 3, Santos Laguna 1: Rebecca Villuendas hit a fantastic free kick and Luz Ruíz and Alejandra Tapia contributed goals of their own as hosts Querétaro downed Santos 3-1 on Friday. Alexxandra Ramírez scored the lone goal for Santos.

Pumas 1, Lobos BUAP 0: Pumas got their second win of the season, downing Lobos BUAP 1-0 in the lone Saturday match. Fabiola Santamaría scored the lone goal for Pumas, getting her head on the end of a fantastic cross in the 32nd minute.
Puebla 1, Toluca 2: Toluca would score two unanswered goals after the half to down Puebla. Mirelle Arciniega got the hosts on the board first by converting a penalty, but Karla Zempoalteca would knot it with a header off of a corner kick and María Mauleon would get the game winner with a fantastic individual effort. Toluca has the best goal differential in the league at +9.
Chivas 1, Necaxa 0: Brenda Viramontes scored a goal on a wonderful cross into the box as Chivas improved to the best record in Liga MX Femenil. Necaxa on the other hand has just one point in four games.
Veracruz 2; Pachuca 2: Five yellow cards and four goals marked a wild one in Veracruz as Tiburones Rojos drew Pachuca 2-2. Lizbeth Ángeles got the scoring started off of a mistake by Veracruz goalkeeper María Tarango in the 27th. A minute later, Daniela Alcantar would equalize thanks in part to some sloppy defensive play by Pachuca. Mónica Ocampo would give Pachuca the lead with her first goal of the season in the 37th. Zaira Fortis would salvage a point for the hosts in the 81st thanks to another defensive miscue by Pachuca.
León 1, Atlas 2: León remains winless thanks to a heartbreaker by Joana Robles as stoppage time was being announced. Ana García drew first blood for Atlas in the 35th thanks to a fantastic cross from Mayra Santana. Sanjuana Muñoz scored León’s only goal in the 89th minute on a cross in from Denisse Valdez.
