Life’s slowly returning back to normal for the Mexico national team players. With El Tri’s World Cup campaign once again prematurely over, the players based in Major League Soccer were back in action this weekend, with Carlos Vela and the Dos Santos brothers getting their first club minutes since Mexico’s elimination.
Carlos Vela came on a second half substitute in Los Angeles Football Club’s 4-1 victory over Orlando City. Bob Bradley’s men have been on a roll in recent weeks and are now genuine contenders for first place in the Western Conference.
On the other hand. Jonathan dos Santos and Giovani dos Santos got the start for the Galaxy, helping their team to a comfortable 4-0 victory over the Columbus Crew. Jonathan went on to play all 90 minutes for the Galacticos, while Giovani exited the game for Emmanuel Boating in the 82nd minute. The Galaxy are currently eighth place in the Western Conference with 25 points.
