In the Round of 16, Guillermo Ochoa had 8 crucial saves versus Brazil, in which many could have made the defeat a higher margin. Facing an elite player like Neymar, who at the time had attempted the most shots (23) and shots on target (12) throughout the World Cup, making him the busiest player in the tournament, Ochoa showed once again why he should be considered a top goalkeeper in the world.
Guillermo Ochoa should be in a top European club after his back-to-back heroic performances with his national team. It’s only a matter of time a club gives him the platform to showcase his skills.
What club would you like to see Memo Ochoa partake as the new club season starts in few weeks?
