Mexico, preparing itself for the 2020 Olympic games, has decided to send a strong squad to the 2018 Toulon Tournament. Under head coach Chima Ruiz, Mexico will send some star Liga MX players like Jonathan Gonzalez and Cesar Montes from Monterrey, Jose Macias from Chivas and America’s phenom Diego Lainez. Mexico is looking to get a jump on a tough road for another repeat in gold. Mexico won the tournament in 2012 and would later win the Olympic gold. Mexico was placed in Group A with Qatar, England and China. They open the tournament against Qatar on May 26.
