Mexico manager Juan Carlos Osorio has announced his 28-man squad for the upcoming World Cup warmup matches against Iceland and Croatia.

Osorio took the step of calling most of his regulars. However, the Mexico boss hopes to take one final look at several players, including Royal Excel Mouscron youngster Omar Govea and California-native Jonathan Gonzalez. Others included are Pachuca’s Jorge “Burrito” Hernandez and Toluca goalkeeper Alfredo Talavera, who makes his first return with the national team since suffering a lengthy knee injury.

Giovani dos Santos was not included in Osorio’s team following a hamstring injury during LA Galaxy’s 2-1 defeat to NYCFC last weekend.
