The matchup for the Liga MX Femenil 2018 Apertura Final is set, as Club América and Tigres UANL will face one another on December 7th in Mexico City and December 10 in Nuevo León.
Club América 1, Pachuca 0: Lucero Cuevas’ goal in the 11th minute of the second leg was the difference maker, as América was able to keep Pachuca’s high scoring offense silent in both legs of the series. The series was marred however by a fight that broke out in stoppage time that saw Pachuca’s Karen Díaz and América’s Zulma Hernández sent off.
