Coming into week 15, the playoff teams had been decided but there were still positions to jockey for. Here’s how the teams did to help - or hurt - their case.

Querétaro 0, Monarcas Morelia 3: Lizette Rodríguez had a brace and María Sandoval got her first goal of season as Monarcas downed Querétaro 3-0. While both teams are eliminated from the Liguilla, Monarcas sits just three points behind Querétaro in the table.

Atlas 1, Monterrey 1: Alicia Cervantes put Monterrey on the board in the 47th minute, but Joana Robles equalized it in the 70th minute on a free kick as Atlas and Monterrey drew 1-1. While Querétaro and Monarcas will miss the Liguilla both Atlas and Monterrey are in. They are separated by just one point, with Monterrey holding the upper hand going into the final week.

Pumas UNAM 0, Cruz Azul 1: After going winless in their first thirteen Cruz Azul has won two straight, knocking off Pumas 1-0 in CU. Daniela Fuentes was the hero for La Maquina, hitting a scorcher off of a corner kick in the 22nd minute. Pumas have lost their last three at home by a combined score of 6-0.

Veracruz 2, Toluca 4: Mariel Roman’s hat-trick helped Toluca down hosts Veracruz by a score of 4-2. Veracruz got goals from an Alejandra Soriano penalty and Nancy Ojeda on a free kick, but Roman and a goal from Andrea Hernández pushed the visitors past Pumas into third place in Group 1.

Pachuca 3, Club América 2: A wild one in Pachuca as the hosts defeated Club América 3-2. Pachuca got the scoring started in the seventh minute when Esbeyda Salazar was able to get to a Lisbeth Ángeles shot that hit off of the post. There would be a lull in the scoring until the 79th minute when Yaritzi Rodríguez would equalize with an autogol. Vannya García would put América ahead in the 89th minute, but Estefany Hernández would equalize in the 91st minute on a stunning golazo.

Just when you thought it was done however, Ángeles would hit a free kick in the 96th minute to give Pachuca the victory - and open up a three point lead at the top of Group 1.

Tigres UANL 2, Chivas 1: Tigres would get two unanswered goals to down Chivas 2-1. Kristal Soto would get the scoring started in the 32nd minute on a breakaway, but after that it was all Tigres. Lizbeth Ovalle would equalize on a header in the box in the 57th, and Belén Cruz would seal it in the 87th on a header in almost the same exact spot as Ovalle’s. Tigres is seven points up on second place Chivas in Group 2.

León 1, Necaxa 0: Perla Navarrete’s header in the 82nd minute was enough to see León over Necaxa 1-0.

Club Tijuana 0, Puebla 3: A brace by Mariela Jiménez bookended a goal by Jessica Tenorio as Puebla blanked Tijuana 3-0 in Baja California. Xolos Femenil ended their season losing six straight and going winless in thirteen games.

The teams will be off next week due to the international break before finishing the final week of the season.
