Mexico announced the squad that will look for a ticket to the 2019 U-20 World Cup in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship to be held in November. The big surprise is young superstar Diego Lainez being called to the tournament, even when he’s getting playing time with America. The Tournament will be from November 1st to the 21st in Bradenton, Florida.

Mexico shares Group B with Nicaragua, Aruba, Jamaica, Saint Martin and Grenada. El Tri will start the tournament against Nicaragua on November 2nd.

Amongst those that will miss out are Atlas´ Ian Torres and Pachuca’s Roberto de la Rosa, who both starred in the team when they were in the U-17s.
