On November 10 they will face Belgium, the only European team qualified for the World Cup so far in a city to be named later. On November 13, they will face Poland in the polish city of Gdansk. Poland has yet to qualify to the World Cup but are atop of the group and will face Armenia, who is already eliminated. Meanwhile, their closest rivals (Montenegro and Denmark) will face each other. Should Poland finish 2nd in the group, the friendly would have to be cancelled as they will have to play UEFA playoffs during that November break.
The friendlies will be the first European friendly tour for Juan Carlos Osorio and the first tour since 2014. During that last tour under Miguel Herrera, Mexico defeated the Netherlands 3-2 in Amsterdam and then lost by the same score to Belarus.
