Club Tijuana (2W 1D 3L) has finally found their stride under Eduardo Coudet. After being shut out in their first three Liga MX matches, Xolos have won two straight by a combined score of 5-1 thanks in part to Gustavo Bou scoring in each of the last three Liga MX matches. The team also signed Juan Manuel Iturbe this week, however with Quick Mendoza playing extremely well lately Chacho may not feel the need to rush the former AS Roma winger into the mix.

Pachuca (3W 0D 3L) also has a new right winger from Serie A - Japan international Keisuke Honda. Honda made his much anticipated debut on Wednesday against Veracruz, scoring just 15 minutes into his shift as Los Tuzos thrashed Los Tiburones Rojo 4-1. Pachuca is more than just Honda though - Victor Guzman has four goals on the year and has won three straight.

Pachuca’s weakness however could be their defense, as they’ve let in nine goals in six games. This game could easily turn into a shootout, especially on the quick turf at Estadio Caliente. Xolos defense has been solid, but they’re going to need to step it up another notch to prevent Guzman, Honda, and the rest of thr attack from getting good looks at goal. This should be a fun one for the neutral fan.
