In the Clásico Capitalino, Dayana Cázares scored twice as América downed Pumas. Daniela Espinosa, Edna Santamaria, and Betzy Cuevas also scored for Las Águilas, while Karime Abud scored the lone goal for Pumas. Cázares and Abud are tied with Pachuca’s Yamilke Azenek for top goalscorer with four.
Cruz Azul 0, Santos 3
Santos rebounded from a harsh loss yesterday to defeat La Máquina. Yuliana Adriano and Susan Polina scored for Las Guerreras, while Jocelyn Gutiérrez had the misfortune of an autogol.
Toluca 3, Chivas 0
Mariel Godínez and María Tarango combined for the clean sheet as Toluca beat Chivas. Andrea Hernández, Miroslaba Chavez, and Gabriela Gonzalez were the goalscorers for Las Diablas.
Monterrey 3, Tigres 4
Tigres got the better of the Clásico Regiomontano thanks to a Lanny Silva brace - and a Leslie De La Cruz autogol. Blanca Solís also scored for Tigres, who were up 4-1 in the 34th minute. Diana Evangelista scored a brace late for Las Rayadas, however they were unable to find the tying goal. Sofía Martínez also scored for Monterrey.
Necaxa 0, Tijuana 2
Carolina Jaramillo scored twice and Isela Parra got her second straight shutout as Tijuana defeated Las Centellas. Tijuana is the only team yet to have conceded a goal in the Copa Liga MX Femenil.
