Claudia Fabiola Ibarra and Tijuana native Carolina Jamarillo scored for Xolos and Isela Parra kept a clean sheet as Xolos downed Cruz Azul. Ibarra, who has featured for the Mexico National Team in the past, scored in the 24th minute. Jaramillo converted her penalty in the 40th minute.
A quick flurry of goals saw Toluca defeat Monarcas. Kenya Téllez got the scoring started in the 41st for Toluca. A minute later, Alejandra Calderón would get the equalizer for Morelia, but two minutes after that Toluca went up for good on a goal from Karla López.
Monterrey 0, América 6
Las Rayadas were completely outclassed by América, as Dayana Cázares and Betzy Cuevas each had a brace for Las Águilas. Daniela Espinoza and Lucero Cuevas also contributed goals, and Aurora Santiago kept a clean sheet.
Santos 0. Necaxa 2
Las Centellas saw goals from Brenda Garcia and Paulina Pérez as they saw off Santos Laguna. Cintia Monreal made one save to preserve the shutout for Necaxa.
Berenice Muñoz had a hat trick, Yamile Campo had a brace, and Mónica Ocampo had a lone goal as Pachuca routed Chivas. Brenda Viramontes scored the lone goal for Los Rebaño Sagrado.
Pumas 4, Tigres 1
Karime Abud also had a hat trick and Patricia Jardón scored as Pumas defeated Tigres. Belén Cruz’ 56th minute goal spoiled the shutout.
