Chivas vs Monarcas Morelia 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch Copa MX Final

And so, five months after losing to Queretaro in the 2016 Apertura Copa MX Final, Chivas are back in another final. This time, the Rebaño Sagrado play host to Monarcas Morelia at the Estadio Chivas.

Matias Almeyda’s men have been a constant in this competition. Chivas last won the trophy in 2015 against Club Leon, and this marks the fourth final for Chivas in the last five editions of the tournament.

For this final, it is expected that Almeyda fields a nice mix of starters and reserves, as they take on a Monarcas Morelia side that arrive as something of a surprise team. The Purepechas have put Liga MX survival ahead of the Copa MX, and as such, coach Roberto Hernandez has rotated his squad throughout the competition, opting to use a reserve team for the whole of this tournament. Despite the special occasion, Hernandez will likely do the same for this match, which will no doubt make them big underdogs to win this final.

Monarcas Morelia last won the tournament in 2013, and prior to that, the last Cup final they made was in 1965.

At the end, it comes down to two questions: Will Chivas find redemption, or will Roberto Hernandez’s trust in his team trump all of Guadalajara’s talents? Get ready for another “Noche Magica de Copa MX”.
