Club America will look to keep their winning streak alive when they host Queretaro in action of Week 14 in Liga MX.
Injury crisis? No problem. Coach Ricardo La Volpe has found a way to establish flight in a heavily wounded Aguilas team. At the moment, Club America are fifth in the league table and have gone four straight league games without a defeat.
What’s more, las Aguilas are nearly perfect at the Estadio Azteca. The “Coloso de Santa Úrsula” has weighed down opponents heavily this season, and as such, America boast of a superb record of four wins and one draw. In fact, las Aguilas have not conceded a single goal at home this Clausura.
For Queretaro, this is a must-win match. Right through the manager and players, everybody in the Queretaro squad are calling this game a final. That’s because Jimmy Lozano’s boys are currently 12th in the league and four points away from a Liguilla place. A defeat here could essentially end Queretaro’s hopes of reaching the “fiesta grande”. Forget just scoring a goal, Queretaro need to win this match and end Club America’s unbeatability at home.
