Mexico to face Croatia and Ireland in friendlies in Los Angeles and New Jersey

Mexico will meet Croatia and Ireland in the lead-up to El Tri’s World Cup qualifiers in the month of June.

El Tri will meet Croatia on May 27 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum before traveling to the East Coast to take on Ireland at MetLife Stadium four days later.

Mexico will be coming off World Cup qualifiers against Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago in March. Currently, Juan Carlos Osorio’s men sit second with four points earned in two matches.

Mexico opened their 2017 with a 1-0 win over Iceland back in February. A week after the Ireland clash, El Tri will host two crucial World Cup qualifiers against rivals Honduras and United States at the Estadio Azteca.

Next, El Tri are expected to announce two more friendlies ahead of of their participation in the Confederations Cup.

Tickes for the games against Croatia and Ireland are expected to go out on sale next Monday.
