Tijuana returns home tonight, coming off of an impressive win against León and a draw in a friendly against the LA Galaxy in the past week. They’ll look to pick up their fifth straight win against a Necaxa side that has fallen flat after a solid performance in the Apertura.

Xolos attack has been consistently impressive during this run of form, scoring 12 goals in just five games - four goals more than the next closest team (Monterrey) and four times the amount of goals that Necaxa has. Milton Caraglio has had a good start to the season, and Avilés Hurtado had an incredible game against León last week.

Necaxa on the other hand can’t score, and while their defense is serviceable (conceding six goals in the five games), they’re going to need some offensive output to stand a chance against Tijuana. Chilean striker Edson Puch was such a huge part of Necaxa’s improbable run to the Liguilla, however the Chilean has missed three matches with patellar tendinitis in his right knee. His only goal of 2017 has been a penalty scored in a Copa MX match against Potros UAEM. Necaxa manager Alfonso Sosa has tried various players up top, however no one on the team has scored more than one goal this season.
