You can subscribe to my Mexicans Abroad calendar here. Let me know if you have any suggestions on how to improve it. Let’s recap the weekend:

Gio Dos Santos (Galaxy): Club season is over

Cubo Torres (Dynamo): Club season is over but the Dynamo might be looking to sell him.

Carlos Vela (Real Sociedad): Came off the bench for 5 minutes and touched the ball 7 times. His MLS career is nearly here and Real Sociedad has moved on from Vela.

Andres Guardado (Real Betis): Plays on 12/18.

Hector Moreno (AS Roma): Made the bench but did not see any action.

Raul Jimenez (Benfica): Had 7 touches in his 10 minute cameo.

Antonio Briseno (CD Feirense): Made the bench but did not see any action.

Hirving Lozano (PSV): Went 80 minutes in PSV’s 3-0 win against ADO. Had 3 shots on target, and 4 dribbles. Chucky is now tied for the league lead in goals with his teammate, Marco van Ginkel, but has played nearly 300 minutes less.

Uriel Antuna (FC Groningen): Made the bench but did not see any action.

Chicharito (West Ham): Came off the bench for 11 minutes. Chicha had 1 shot on target, 1 key pass and 2 completed dribbles in his 15 touches of the ball.

Carlos Salcedo (Eintracht Frankfurt): Finished the game with a 7.24 WhoScored rating and the most touches on the team. Salcedo was busy with 6 clearances, 4 interceptions, and 2 tackles. One of the few Mexicans starting every game for his club in Europe.

Marco Fabian (Eintracht Frankfurt): Back in training with the club, look for him to make his season debut during a friendly in Frankfurt’s winter break.

Guillermo Ochoa (Standard Liege): Pitched a shut out over the weekend and had 3 saves.

Omar Govea (Royal Mouscron): Govea and his club got their first win since 9/23. Unfortunately for Omar, he was not able to participate due to yellow card accumulation.

Lalo Herrera (Rangers): Saw 15 minutes off the bench in Ranger’s 1-3 loss to St. Johnstone.

Carlos Pena (Rangers): Did not make the bench over the weekend.
