It’s Liguilla time! Following the end of the 2017 Liga MX Apertura regular season, the “fiesta grande” get’s underway this week.

Without a doubt, the match that highlights these quarterfinals is the Clasico Joven between Club America and Cruz Azul. Aguilas and Cementeros have already faced each other twice this semester, with the azulcremas getting the best out of their city rivals in both matches.

Meanwhile, the team with the most points, Monterrey, will face off with Atlas, who are still looking for their first title since 1951. Rivals Tigres, on the other hand, are pinned against a León team that arguably played some of the most attractive fútbol across the whole season.

Finally, both Monarcas Morelia and Toluca quietly sneaked into the Liguilla and will look to be the dark horses in this tournament.

Times and dates are TBA.
