APOEL draw 1-1 against Borussia Dortmund

I saw this game on today’s Mexicans Abroad Schedule and kept it moving because Raul Gudiño has not seen the field for APOEL since he arrived on loan. But then this happened

and I had to pay attention to the game as well as the Porto game. Overall, Raul played as well as could be expected. He was not playing some small team in a cup game but rather Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. He was up to the challenge and made a couple key saves.

And salvaged a point with this last minute save.

The severity of Boy Waterman’s injury is not yet known but if he misses any time, Raul will slide into the starting lineup. It was a solid debut for the lanky Mexican and a big point for his club. APOEL are in last place in Group H but tied with Dortmund with 1 point.

Porto fall 3-2 against RB Leipzig

Herrera and Layun found themselves starting for Porto as Tecatito and Reyes watched from the bench. El Zorillo was wearing the captain’s armband for this important match. It was a back and forth game, the first half finished with a score of 3-2 in favor of Leipzig. Herrera picked up an assist just before half on this header .

Tecatito would make a 14 minute cameo in the second half but it would not matter as Porto lost 3-2 and find themselves in 3rd place in Group G with 3 points.
