Love him or hate him, Xolos manager Miguel Herrera is quite the character (full disclaimer: I am a huge fan). ESPNFC’s Tom Marshall wrote a great article on El Piojo and his journey to becoming Xolos’ manager, detailing the temperament that not only makes him so successful but also has gotten in him hot water on more than a few occasions. But if you are able to over look those incidents, Herrera just seems like a fun guy.
Yesterday, Herrera was filmed taking batting practice with Liga Mexicana de Beisbol team Toros de Tijuana at Estadio Gasmart, just a few minutes drive from Estadio Caliente. Toros were the LMB runners-up in 2016, losing to Pericos de Puebla 4-2

Not a bad swing! I don’t know much about Mexican baseball, but if Toros de TIjuana need a designated hitter, they could do worse than giving him a look.
