Toluca vs. Chivas Guadalajara, 2016 Liga MX Apertura: Confirmed lineups

Despite having to play three games in six days, no rotating from Chivas coach Matias Almeyda who fields his strongest possible lineup against the Diablos Rojos. Jair Pereira is still missing from injury, which means Hedgardo Marin and Juan Miguel Basulto will make up the Rebaño center-back pairing. New signing Alan Pulido, who scored during the midweek, is only good enough to make the bench, but expect him to get increased Liga MX minutes as the season wears on.

Like Chivas, Toluca field a very similar lineup to that of recent weeks. For the Diablos Rojos, two youngsters stick out in their starting lineup. 20-year-old Aldo Benitez is given the task of covering the in-form Issac Brizuela, and as ever, look for Alexis Vega to make some noise for Hernan Cristante’s side.
