Veracruz vs. Club America, 2016 Liga MX Apertura: Confirmed lineups

A day after Tropical Storm Earl forced Club America and Veracruz to postpone their game, Ignacio Ambriz makes no real surprise to his starting lineup. It was known from well before Ambriz was going to back to a line of five defenders following their 3-0 defeat to Tigres last week. It is also no real surprise to see goalkeeper Moises Muñoz back in the staring lineup after the former Mexico international missed two straight weeks through injury.

Veracruz, on the other hand, keeps the same core of players from their last game. The Tiburones Rojos have only won once this season, and it was also at the Estadio Luis “Pirata” Fuente against Santos Laguna.
