Chivas Guadalajara vs. Queretaro, 2016 Liga MX Apertura: Confirmed lineups

Chivas coach Matias Almeyda surprises many by benching Carlos Alberto “Gullit” Peña for Eduardo “La Chofis” Lopez. Gullit has been less-than-stellar this season, and as such, La Chofis makes his first start of the season. But barring Gullit’s benching, Almeya fields a similar starting XI from games past as the side from Jalisco looks to the right the ship after just one win in three league games.

Meanwhile, Victor Manuel Vucetich comes out with much of the side that has propelled the Gallos Blancos to the top-half of the table. Queretaro’s seven points in three matches are a result of consistency, and they will look to keep it that way today at the Estadio Chivas.
