Chivas have completed the signing of Mexican forward Alan Pulido from Olympiacos.
The announcement of Alan Pulido was officially made on Tuesday afternoon as manager Matias Almeyda boosts Chivas’ attacking options for the second half of the Liga MX season.
Pulido, 25, emerged as one of Mexico’s bright young attacking talents while at Tigres. But after a long contractual dispute with the Nuevo Leon-based club, Pulido moved to Greece where he played for clubs like Levadiakos and Olympiacos.
Before playing in Greece, Pulido scored 25 goals and added 12 assists with Tigres. Almeyda is hoping Pulido can replicate his goal-scoring form when he comes to the Rebaño Sagrado.
Pulido should be available for the Rebaño’s next league game at the Estadio Chivas on September 10. Pulido joins Jose Juan “Gallito” Vazquez, Nestor Calderon, Marco Bueno, and Alejandro Zendejas in Chivas list of summer signings for the 2016 Liga MX Apertura.
