Two of Liga MX’s hottest teams are set for a prime time clash as UNAM Pumas heads west to take on Xolos tonight. Miguel Herrera’s Tijuana (4-1-1) leads the series with Pumas (3-2-1) 4-3-3 since 2011, and will look to solidify their grip on the Liga MX table. Led by Liga MX leading scorer Dayro Moreno, Xolos may feel like they left points on the table after drawing lowly Necaxa 1-1 last time out. Not to be outdone is Xolos’ defense, which has yet to concede a goal in three home matches.

Francisco Paco Palencia’s Pumas on the other hand come to Baja California after handing out a 5-3 beating to Monterrey on Sunday. Pumas is a fun team to watch, full of technically gifted forwards like Uruguyan Matías Britos, who scored three of Pumas’ five goals against Los Rayados. Pumas has conceded a total of eight goals in six games and have yet to win on the road in the Apertura.
