Mexicans In Champions League

Champions League Draw is here

The Champions League Draw is about 2 hours too long and not worth watching. But have no fear, see below for the Group draws featuring Mexican National Team players.

Raul Jimenez and Benfica are slotted into Group B with Napoli, Dynamo Kiev, and Besiktas. Raul will look to repeat his good showing in last year’s Champions League that saw him produce 3 goals & 2 assists as Benfica made it to the Quarter-Finals.

The draw did no favor for Eredivisie champions, PSV. Guardado and company are in Group D with Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and Rostov. This is the early favorite for the dreaded “Group of Death” label. It is going to be tough for PSV to make it out of the group and repeat last year’s success.

Chicharito and Bayer are into Group E with CSKA Moscow, Tottenham, and Monaco. A manageable group for Leverkusen but the same might have been said last season. They failed to make it out of the Group stage before crashing out of the Europa League. Chicharito should be fit in time for the first game.

Porto have been draw into Group G with newcomers Leicester City, Brugge, and FC Copenhagen. A wild week for Porto, from almost not getting through to the group stage to getting an “easier” group draw. PorTri should survive the group and could cause some damage going forward.

Who has the “Easiest” path to the knockout round? The “Hardest”?
