The United Kingdom's Daily Mail released their "20 greatest badges in football" list, and Tijuana's Xoloitzcuintle was ranked 14th overall, ahead of such iconic badges as English Premier League's Liverpool and Serie A's AS Roma. Xolos were the only North American club to make the list, which also included clubs from Africa, Europe, and South America.
You will either love it or hate it, but we love Club Tijuana's crest enough to put it at No 14.
Their full name is Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles de Caliente... and a Xoloitzcuintli is a hairless breed of dog. This is a club named after them, and their nickname is 'Los Perros Aztecas' which translates to 'The Aztec Dogs'.
The top honors went to Brazil's Sao Paulo, with Belgium's KAA Gent being the top European side at number two and South Africa's Kaizer Chiefs as Africa's highest ranked badge at number six.
