It is hard not to be astonished by what Iceland have done so far in this competition. They have created their mark on the tournament, and in that regard, whenever we think of Euro 2016 we will think of that superb Iceland side that defied all odds to achieve what they have achieved.

But things are about to get a lot tougher for the feel-good story of the summer. In front of the small island country is the host France, who remain as one of the favorites to win the whole tournament. Talk will naturally turn to the underdogs, but make no mistake, France are nothing like Iceland have faced in this tournament. The line of talented midfielders and attackers available for coach Didier Deschamps could cause trouble for Iceland's packed defense.

Speaking of attackers, Tigres forward Andre-Pierre Gignac was praised for his performance against the Republic of Ireland but will likely start the game from the bench again.

At the end of the night, either the legend of Iceland will continue or France will be one step closer to their objective. One thing is for certain, Germany awaits the winner in Marseille.
