No surprises for Chivas in the starting lineup. Coach Matias Almeyda will start with the same backbone that provided him with so much success in the second half of the 2016 Liga MX Clausura. That said, Carlos Salcedo was given permission to start this game despite being on Raul "Potro" Gutierrez's squad for the Rio Olympics. Salcedo, however, will be unavailable for the start of the Liga MX Apertura.
Likewise, Veracruz are bringing their best for this game. Peruvian international Pedro Gallese will start his first game in the Veracruz net, while new signing Matias Cahais will be insterted in the starting lineup from the get-go. Former Boca Juniors midfielder Cristian Erbes, though, is set to miss out.
You will be able to watch the game at 10pm EST on Univision, Univision Deportes Network, and fuboTV.
