On the whole, a third-place finish would be a worthy achievement for Jurgen Klinsmann's side. It would constitute the highest finish at a Copa America in United States soccer history. In that regard, there is still something to play for when the United States men's national team take on Colombia at University of Phoenix Stadium on Saturday.
Of course, Colombia will be thinking much along the same lines. Fighting for a third-place finish was perhaps not the final objective of this Colombia team but it is still a nice consolation prize for arguably one of the best teams in this Copa America Centenario.
At the end, maybe you just don't care. You just want to see an entertaining match and/or the United States slip-up one last time in this tournament. Either way, it is a nice warm-up to the game that really matters on Sunday.
