Mexico vs. Chile, Copa America 2016: Community Player Ratings

John Hefti-USA TODAY Sports

That happened. Mexico were demolished 7-0 by Chile in their Copa America Centenario quarterfinal clash at Levi's Stadium.

The result was Mexico's worst defeat in an official game in their history and saw Juan Carlos Osorio's unbeaten run in front of El Tri come to an end.

For starters, credit has to be given to Chile. La Roja were sensational. Marcelo Diaz and Arturo Vidal were simply too much for Mexico's midfield, and the front three of Alexis Sanchez, Eduardo Vargas, and Edson Puch were as clinical as they can be.

But the bottom line is Mexico were equally horrendous. For a lot of El Tri players, this was simply the worst game of their national team careers. Without saying too many names, players like Hector Herrera and Miguel Layun were simply beat at every aspect of the game.

That said, below you will be able to vote for the best (or worst) player for El Tri in this game to forget for the Mexico national team.
