For the first time, we decided to have the FMF State of Mind community pick their man of the match for Mexico's 2-0 win over Jamaica. There weren't many surprises, and in truth, the ratings given by the community weren't very far from the truth. This is your man of the match from Thursday's game.
Man of the Match: Guillermo Ochoa
No surprise here, Guillermo Ochoa was incredible under the El Tri net. Officially, Guillermo Ochoa was credited for only three saves, but "Memo" was exceptional in every other aspect of the game. He was great with his feet, he took care of business in the air, and he delivered when it mattered most.
The question now is will Guillermo Ochoa start for Mexico in the quarterfinals? He certainly did himself plenty of favors by keeping his net in zero against a valiant Jamaican side.
Here are the ratings for the entire Thursday night squad:
Gullermo Ochoa: 7.6
Nestor Araujoa: 5.7

Hector Moreno: 5.0
