Giovani dos Santos kept his hot streak going by scoring his fifth goal in four games to help the Los Angeles Galaxy to a 4-2 win over the New England Revolution on Sunday.
The team from Southern California came out flying off the gates and took a quick lead through Robbie Keane before Dos Santos doubled the lead with superb volley from the edge of the box.
Playing through the middle for large parts of the game, Dos Santos was instrumental, helping set Gyasi Zardes free for Robbie Keane to score his second of the afternoon.
But the Revs ignited a second half comeback when Kelyn Rowe and Juan Agudelo cut the deficit to one in a space of three minutes.
Steven Gerrard, however, put a seal on all three points late in the second half as the Galaxy extended their league-best seven games straight without a defeat.
