It was a roller coaster ending for FC Porto on Sunday as they lost  the Portuguese cup final on penalties to Sporting Braga to finish the 2015/2016 season without any silverware. Hector Herrera and Miguel Layun went the distance, while Jesus "Tecatito" Corona saw the game from the bench.

With the score at 2-0 in favor of Sporting Braga, Porto staged a second half comeback with Andre Siva pulling the Dragões within one with 30 minutes to go in the match.

When it looked like Braga were headed to the title, Hector Herrera sent a desperate cross into the area, where Andre Silva was there to bicycle kick the ball home and level the score in dramatic fashion.

After a goalless extra time period, the teams went to penalties to decide the winner of the Portuguese cup.

Miguel Layun was first to step up and score, but Hector Herrera and Maxi Pereira missed as Sporting Braga were crowned Portuguese Cup champions for the first time in 50 years.
