FC Juarez vs Necaxa, Ascenso MX Final, TV schedule and live stream

And so, 90 minutes remain to see who will be the 18th team in Liga MX. Necaxa earned a vital 1-0 win in the first leg, and now they face the task of clinching promotion at the home of FC Juarez.

Necaxa, of course, are no strangers to playing in Liga MX. Los Rayos were a perennial powerhouse in the mid 90s, winning three league titles and and a Copa MX (formerly called Copa Mexico). Relegation, however, followed on two occasion, and after spending most of the 2000s in Mexico's second tier, the team is closer than ever to making its return.

FC Juarez, on the other hand, have a much different history. Los Bravos were founded in 2015, and after only months of existence, the team won the 2015 Ascenso MX Apertura to qualify to this match.

Los Bravos face no easy task. Sergio Orduna's side need to score to force extra time, but to their credit, they only lost once at home all season.

An Ascenso MX final assumes colossal proportions. It is the difference between another year in Ascenso MX or playing in the biggest venues in Mexico. For both teams, there will hardly be a better opportunity for promotion.
